Serial killer, stockholm syndrome not really my kinda thing, but it was an interesting type story. If you like this type of dark romance you may like this one.
Enjoyed this book.a lot if you don't like a dark romance leave this one however if you give it a chance it will take you on a very.emotional.ride
I lost interest at 75 percent and quit. Amelia changed too quickly to be remotely believable considering what a doormat she was previously. Noah should have been smart enough to realize how compromised he would become by his street informants.
I just couldn't get into this type of read. I'm sure there are people who get off on killing and loving but not me! This was a strange combination. Still unanswered questions like did law enforcement fall for the plan? Did the warehouse children get saved? Just one crazy odd read!
A whole lot of different from what I'm normally used to but otherwise has a HEA...Noah dark, broken but kills bad, bad people. His latest victim witnessed by the daughter which he captures. And so begins a serious look into the mind and relations of two very broken, too dark souls who connect on a level only they seem to understand.
To start, the sex scenes are intense and heart racing. Amelia and Noah found each other under a stressful situation. Neither knew would change their path in life. Amelia is a survivor of abuse and didn't see a way out until she walks in on Noah killing her father. Falling in love with her captor and finally feeling free was inevitable. Noah was made an orphan when his parents were murdered. He became the avenger for the weak. Meeting Amelia was perfect because he didn't even know she existed. It was meant to be. A family that hunt together stay together forever.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc for this author. I absolutely loved this book. It is dark ,hot,sexy,thrilling and so so much more. I was hooked from the first line and couldn't put it down until I was finished. The story was exciting and magnificently written. The characters were amazing with wonderful chemistry. I just couldn't get enough. This is a definite must read so don't miss it.
